Thank goodness for percocet..

I had 4 wisdom teeth cut out yesterday and my right jaw is swollen, but my left jaw looks like I have a baseball stuffed in my cheek. I feel like hell. Good think he gave me some percocet's. Unfortunately, they put me to sleep. I've slept almost constantly since 11 am yesterday.

I have to miss the CW/PV game tonight too. Only the second game I've missed in over a decade. I expect a good review from Rock and Counts. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Sorry you missed the game. Wisdom teeth suck pretty bad. I was awake when mine got taken out and they gave me Tylox. I think that's spelled correctly, but it basically did nothing. I had hernia surgery last fall and took Oxycodone for a few days and I honestly can say that I understand why people can get hooked. I'm a pretty big guy and they made me hover when I walked. The last dosage I took was when I was getting ready for bed and I watched a documentary on PBS (I have some nerdy tendencies) about drug addiction and a guy that couldn't kick his habit. When I tell my students about the dangers of drug abuse, whether it's legal or illegal drugs, I make sure to tell them about that. Luckily, the other pills never got taken. Hope you feel better.

I had my right ones taken out on Tuesday. It hurt like a [censored]. My jaw is still swollen. He gave me Loritab's. I have pretty much slept since Tuesday. Have to go back in 6 weeks and get the left ones out. Boy I cant wait!

I had all four of mine done yesterday, I'm glad I did it all at once to get it over with. I can already see some bruising. It ain't gonna be pretty come time to go to work monday. Yeah. All four and all were impacted (not through the skin). My uppers were wayyyyyyyy up at the top of my jaw. He said they were going to be some of the toughest ones he'd had to get out. They put me to sleep though. He said there's no way he could do it with me awake.

Clintwood played hard. PV onside kicked to open the game and with coaches yelling, the players backed away. Totally wasn't expecting it and some, even though they stand at what the 50, said "it didnt go 10 yards" and it went by them. I think just was caught with pants down [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Lawson was able to roll out, and a good block and he had nice yards. He had good field vision, he didn't throw enough to know if he could really throw, but he has good enough field vision to cause the defense problems. Clintwood missed a field goal (looked like it went over post to me but I believe others when they say it went just to right). Bad angle on it from where I was. We didn't execute in one crucial series, and PV came out broke a big run and mo had changed. It was a good effort by us, and I done complained about the spot. It was kind of funny, Norman asked the chain gang when they came back something like 'wasnt the line of the scrimmage the 24 (again I think that was what it was, I may be wrong), and the chain on the 14 and they said well it might have been'. Had all 4 of mine cut out at the same time. The most miserable 3 days of my life were the 3 days after the surgery. Waking up to find a pillow full of blood and eating throught a straw is not pleasant at all.
